This month we heard the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard (Matthew 20:1-16) and learnt about God’s amazing generosity to everyone who comes to him – however undeserving.

Time is a big a factor in the story so we made clocks out of old CDs. We painted them with acrylic paint and decorated them. We bought the mechanisms from the internet for about £1 each.

The children loved putting the battery in and seeing their handiwork transform into a ‘real’ clock that moved!

We painted bunches of grapes by printing with the end of cardboard tubes.

To tie in with the theme of God’s generosity the children made sweets and gift boxes and were encouraged to be generous by giving some of their sweets as a gift.
